Good Broadcast Story
To have a good broadcast story you have to have complete pieces that make sense. The story you're telling needs to have the facts put forth first so you can expand on them after. Everything you put in a broadcast story has to make sense because you're most likely recalling facts from an actual event. To further your story you need b-roll that fits the event or person you may be covering. Then you need natural noise from that environment to further the quality of your story.
What I Saw
During the live filming of anchors and stuff it was an absolute mess. One person kept stopping and getting overly frustrated at anyone and everyone in the room. I didn't really enjoy anything about the one hour I was down in the room where they were filming. The first day of figuring everything out I was editing my groups part of ONW Now.
