Watercolor Transfer Print
Steps For Printing
- Print out an image on printer paper
- Do some sort of abstract painting on watercolor paper with watercolors
- Put an even layer of Mod Poge on the picture side of your image
- Lay the Mod Poge layer flat on the watercolor painting
- Use a squeegee to remove excess Mod Poge and air bubbles from in between your image and the watercolor paper
- Let dry
- Use warm water to rub off all of the image paper from the watercolor paper
- Coat in some sort of sealant
Self Reflection
I liked the first couple parts of this project cause I really like using watercolors and I thought the whole process is really interesting. I struggled with getting the Mod Poge out from under one of my prints which resulting in me ripping a fat whole in the middle of my image. Other than the and rubbing off all of the paper it went pretty smoothly. When I was rubbing the paper I scratched off some of the actual image.
