Website!
Project & Process
The project was to make a website for yourself and then put some projects on it. The projects I put on it are all three ball animations, my logo, and my color wheel. We got started on it by making an elevator pitch. The elevator pitch was where we wrote a paragraph on why someone should hire us. It couldn't be too long since you would have to be talking to the person in an elevator. After we did that we started watching videos made by Mr. Olson that instructed us on how to create our websites. We had to take a picture of ourselves for the headshot on the website and then we got started on the home page. Once we were done with the home page we started on the second page. the second page of the website is the projects that I chose. When I finished all of the important stuff it was finally time to chose a color scheme. Color schemes are my favorite part of any of the projects that we've done in e9.
Elevator Pitch
If you’re looking for a creative mind with a unique point of view, look no further. My name is Jaden Brown and I’m just the person you’re looking for. I am an artist with an eye for color and design, and can always offer my time to work on a project. I truly believe that graphic design is something I’m very good at. I’m always trying to better myself in this field so that the works I make are the best they could possibly be. The point of view I take on projects is that of someone wanting to learn and make something amazing. I always look for ways to make the projects I work on new and innovative. Trying new things that may seem strange at first is something that I strive to do every chance I get. I do my best at producing works that will not go out of style for years upon years. Creating things that can be valued and appreciated for a long time will always be what I strive for.
What Was Learned
I learned a small amount of details involving html code and a lot about how Adobe Dreamweaver works. It was sort of challenging to get the hang of at first but it got easier as I went on with my website. it was really interesting to be able to see all of the codes behind the website. My favorite part was still choosing my colors and looking up the hex codes for those online. I ended up going with the primary colors because they always look nice together.
How It Turned Out
I think my website looks very nice and clean. The red on the header and footer kind of wraps it all up in a way that I think makes a lot of sense. I chose the Gotham type family because the font didn't have serifs and it just looks very clean.
